Raj Bagh, Malik Talao are located inside the park. The beauty of this enormous sanctuary is better experienced. This famous park has metamorphosed from Game Sanctuary to Tiger Reserve, and finally promoted to National Park in the twilight of 1980s.
Corbett Wildlife Sanctuary has the reputation of being the most excellent park in entire India.
Posing as the first National Park in India, Corbett National Park which was established in 1936 has some especially rich Flora and fauna that can hardly be found in any other park around India. Survey in the park shows that it has wide species of mammals and around 580 bird species,
a flourishing reptile variation, and 110 species of trees. Indian tigers are about the main attraction in the park; the sanctuary environment is conducive to a healthy and robust tiger life. Corbett Wildlife Sanctuary is also among the best bird sanctuaries of northern India; it supports most birds found in other sanctuaries and also has it’s specialty in birds too.
