Agra wildlife is very rich. Wildlife in Agra is preserved with the help of many sanctuaries. India is a nation that put a premium on wildlife conservation, having over eighty national parks and well over 400 wildlife sanctuaries.

The parks and sanctuaries in northern India quickly became the center of Agra wildlife tour partly because of the variety of animals in them and partly because of the great Taj Mahal, and other monuments of Agra, which have become monuments forever.

Among the attraction parks of northern India is Bharatpur National Park, know worldwide as one of the best bird sanctuaries in the world. Agra wildlife is thus well preserved. Also known as Keoladeo Ghana National Park, the park also maintains other animals other than birds in its almost 29 square kilometers enclosure.

The mammals supported in the park include Leopard, Nilgai, Black bucks, Wild Boar, Chital, Fishing cat, Otter, Mongoose, Sambhar, Fishing Cats, Foxes, and Chinkara. The park also has hundreds of bird species, like Shanks, Pelicans, Cranes, Eagles, Wheatears, Ibis, Spoonbills, Flycatchers, Darters, Grey Herons, Stork, Ducks, Hawks, Pipits,Wagtails, Cormorants, Buntings, among others.

Bharatpur National Park also has reptiles of different families. Agra wildlife is rich. Ranthambore National Park is another park with larger land mass and a specialty in mammal ( the great habitat of Tiger). This mighty 400-square-mile sanctuary is located in the midst of two ranges (the Aravalis and the Vindhya) and two amazing rivers (the Chambal and the Banas), and several artificial lakes which include Mansarovar,

Raj Bagh, Malik Talao are located inside the park. The beauty of this enormous sanctuary is better experienced. This famous park has metamorphosed from Game Sanctuary to Tiger Reserve, and finally promoted to National Park in the twilight of 1980s.
Corbett Wildlife Sanctuary has the reputation of being the most excellent park in entire India.

Posing as the first National Park in India, Corbett National Park which was established in 1936 has some especially rich Flora and fauna that can hardly be found in any other park around India. Survey in the park shows that it has wide species of mammals and around 580 bird species,

a flourishing reptile variation, and 110 species of trees. Indian tigers are about the main attraction in the park; the sanctuary environment is conducive to a healthy and robust tiger life. Corbett Wildlife Sanctuary is also among the best bird sanctuaries of northern India; it supports most birds found in other sanctuaries and also has it’s specialty in birds too. Agra wildlife is very rich.

Tourists worldwide who are looking for where to have great sight of best in nature should visit northern India; they will also do themselves good not to forget the Great Taj Mahal of Agra. Agra wildlife is rich and due to attractive Agra wildlife, people visit the sanctuaries here.
