Cuisine in Andhra Pradesh is widely known for the tangy and spicy touch it has to it. The cuisine of this state is backed by the rich culture and tradition of the state.

The Mughal era had its deep impact on the lifestyle of Hyderabad which shows it effects in the food that belongs to this state.

Apart from the Muslim spicy food you are likely find Hindu vegetarian food that stand complementary to it, together making a unique combination in itself. The staple food of this state is rice that is included in both Hindu as well as Muslim food.

However, the seafood is most popularly served towards the coastal regions where there are a lot of beaches and resorts.

As you know rice and sambhar are common south Indian dishes that you would find anywhere in India but what is unique about Andhra Pradesh is the traditional way in which the food is served on the green banana leaf. According to the tradition, natives are supposed to sit on the floor and where they are served food on banana leaves. Rice is liked by the natives with some ghee sprinkled over it. The Andhra meal generally consists of five main dishes and along with it they prefer pickles and chutneys, dry curries and curd.

Besides spicy and tangy pickles and curries, cuisine in Andhra Pradesh also has various desserts also to sweeten the corners of your mouth. Whether it is Double-ka-Meetha or Qubani-ka-Meetha, you will never forget the rich delight it will bring to your tongue.

Andhra Pradesh is a very nice place to visit as far as the uniqueness of its cuisine is concerned. It is a very interesting place to visit. It attracts a lot of visitors every year. The ever increasing number of visitors is not only due to the tourist attractions that are situated in this place. There are many other reasons of this problem as well. One of the other reasons is that it has a very nice cuisine and the visitors enjoy eating out here.
