Bandhavgarh wildlife, India is of great attraction. The National park is situated in the Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh. This National Park was declared in 1968 and the Rewa Maharaj handed it to the government. Bandhavgarh National park is considered the Bandhavgarh wildlife and its popularity is because of the white tigers and the density of tiger population all over India.

The park is covered with Sal forests and is replaced with mixed forests in the higher hills. Only the higher hill side has mixed vegetation of Saj, Sali, Saja, dhobin, etc. Bandhavgarh wildlife, India has extensive stretches of bamboo forests and grasslands. The greenery and the rocky ridges are cut by the perennial streams.

The extensions included into the park consists of hills covered with forests but sprinkled with grasslands were agricultural lands. The central park consists of the fort is the main area and the area has 32 hills and some marshy grasslands and few water bodies. Bandhavgarh wildlife was loved and admired by tourist’s attraction.


Bandhavgarh wildlife, India comprises of animals such as Macaque, Rhesus, Golden Jackal, Hanuman langur, Bengal Fox, Wolf, Ratel, Dhole Sloth Bear, Common Palm Civet, Small Indian Civet, Indian Grey Mongoose, Small Indian Mongoose, Ruddy Mongoose, Leopard, Wild Boar, Chital Sambar, Blackbuck, Indian Pangolin, Indian Gazelle, Indian Muntjac, Indian Hare, Indian Porcupine and Northern Palm Squirrel.

Bandhavgarh wildlife is also popular for bird watching. There are over 140 bird species. The species of orange Headed Thrush, Coppersmith Barbet, Alexandrine Parakeet, Rock Pigeon, Indian Grey Hornbill, Carrion Crow, Indian Robin, Little Egret, Laughing Dove, Malabar Pied Hornbill, White Browned Fantail Flycatcher, Long Billed Vulture, etc.

Bandhavgarh wildlife, India allows visitors into the National Park twice every day for three hours jeep safaris. These safaris start at dawn and another one at late afternoon. The animal activity is visible and so visiting during this time has created a great prominence for Bandhavgarh wildlife. The safari vehicles that are commonly used are Gypsy vehicles and this provides the exhilaration of being with the wildlife and forests.

The dirt tracks make the driving slow and observing silence while driving it is essential to keep the animals from alarming. This venture is enjoyed by satiated visitors and these drives are unforgettable moments. Traveling is enjoyed as there are enough hotels to accommodate, adequate dining facilities and convenient access to such places make these traveling more comfortable and enjoyable.
