This national park was the foremost national park of the country India. Formerly this national park was known as Hailey National park but later it was renamed as the Jim Corbett National Park. This national park covers the area about the 520.82 sq km.

This place is termed as the pride of the country when it comes about the wildlife sanctuary. This park has many of the different varieties of the fauna and flora. The area of this park was increased in the year 1991 and the wildlife sanctuary Sonanadi was also merged in it.

Location: This national park considered to be one of the largest is situated in the valley of the Ramganga in Uttranchal. This valley lies in foothills of the Himalayas. This valley is situated at the distance of the 263 km from the Delhi.
