This land is endowed
with palm fringed golden beaches and the natural beauty dominates this
landscape. The excellent churches and royal forts is a significance of
the heritage of 2000 years. The clutter of Indian, Portuguese and
tribal culture accentuates the unparalleled identity of Daman.
Celestial
Diu
Diu has its
prominence in the epic Mahabharata as the legend says that Pandavas
stayed at Mani Nagar during their period of exile. The Jallandhar
temple possesses the evidence of this historical occurrence. The Diu
Fort as well as the Fortino do Mer sway the panorama with the
Portuguese thriving heritage. The alluring beaches spell a cast of
charm.
