The festivals year at Dharamshala starts of with January in which the festival in Dharamsala of Lohri or Maghi is celebrated with full enthusiasm and happiness. This is the festivals in which community bonfires and dances took place to celebrate the last sowing of the Ravi crop.

Then comes the month of March in which Nalwari fair took place at Manali which is famous for the buying and selling of the cattle. It is basically a buying and selling fair.
