Goa is a small state on the western coast of India. Goa is situated between the states of Maharashtra and Karnataka. The Portuguese ruled this land for about 450 years. This presents Goa as an ideal place for tourism. Goa attracts foreign tourists thereby gives an immense fillip to the tourism industry in the state and involves government and private organizations. The luxuries offered in hotels includes accommodation and various other facilities such as telephone, air conditioning, music, entertainment, radio, tennis court, health club, extra beds, golf course, swimming pool and shopping arcade.
