of Karnataka
Chennakeshava
Temple is in Belur and was made by Vishnuvardhan after his triumph in
Talikad battle over nearest rival Cholas in 1117 AD.
Mahabaleshwar
Temple of Gokarna is among Mukti Sthals and is a must visit place for
pilgrims. Vitthala temple, Pattabhirama Temple and Virupaksha temples
are known for unique style of temple building of Vijayanagara rulers.

Gangadhareshwara Temple, Madhukeshwara Temple, Shrikanteshwara temple,
Hoysaleshwara Temple and Mookambika Temple are also among popular

Unexplored forests and wild life
If you see the
greenery of the forests along with Western Ghats you would be
enthralled by the beauty of nature. To protect the wild life by several
problems, government of India has set up various national parks and
wildlife sanctuaries in Karnataka. National park of Bandipur is famous
for its world renowned Asian elephants and Tigers. Bannerghatta
national park is must see place if you are interested in Tiger and
Lion. Kudramukh national park, B R Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, Dandeli
Wildlife Sanctuary and Nagarhole national park have unexplored beauty
of forests and rare wild life and this makes the places the centre of

Catchy
beaches and amazing water falls
Karnataka is gifted
with around 320 km long coast line along with the Arabian Sea which
provides numerous beaches with magnificent beauty. Beach of Marawanthe
offers a memorable view of sunset and St. Mary’s Islands is known for
its formation along with basalt rocks. Devbagh beach, Murudeshwar beach
and Karwar Beach are other beaches which not only provide pictorial
beauty but soothe to the mind as well.
Jog Falls is known
as one of the tallest single tiered waterfalls of India and therefore
is a must see place. Besides this, Abbey Falls, Unchalli Falls,
Shivanasamudra Falls and Magod Falls are popular water falls of
Karnataka.
Other
prominent places
Ibrahim Rouja, Gol
Gumbaz and tallest monolith of sacred Gomateshwara are other prominent
place for tourists to visit. You must see the city of gardens,
Bangalore, which is now known for soft ware industry as well. But the
tour of Karnataka is not complete without visiting Mysore, the city of
