landscapes that you can get a touch of the whole world in this vast
country.

caves, mountains, sea, desert; infact every type of landscapes that
exists in this planet. When you visit a coastal area of this country,
you will really enjoy your time in the beaches.
Lakshadweep,
located almost 300 km near the coastal area of Kerala, is the smallest
union territory of our country.
Lakshadweep on
the Arabian Sea is really like a piece of heaven in this beautiful
world. Lakshadweep is actually the northern part of erstwhile
Lakshadweep.

Lakshadweep,
surrounded by the Arabian Sea, has some beautiful beaches where you can
go and enjoy in a relaxed mood. Arabian Sea is so charming to look at
that you will experience some great moments in your life in these
beaches. The panorama here consists of magnificent lagoons, gorgeous
sea shores, sun bathed sand, palms etc; and you will enjoy all of this
in the midst of soothing air coming from the sea.
Beaches of
Lakshadweep are also famous for coconut canopies and of course you can
drink lots of coconut water. While visiting these beaches you can also
get a taste of the rich marine life. You will witness a colorful
kaleidoscope here in the midst of the nature and it will be like an
archipelago paradise.
Kavaratti
Beach- Kavaratti, the administrative headquarter, is a
small and beautiful lagoon that forms a very ideal spot for playing
water sports and swimming. The Jamnath & Ajara mosques have
some of the best wood carving and Ajara has a beautiful ceiling that is
carved of driftwood. You will experience how marine life exhibits if
you visit the marine aquarium. Sailing yatch and the Kayaks are also
the things that you should see when you visit this place. If you spend
money you can also witness the exotic and thrilling marine life through
the glass bottomed boats.
Kalpeni
Beach- this beautiful little beach is known for its
scenic beauty and it has two islets called Pitti & Tillakkam.
Another feature of kalpeni atoll is that it has a big storm bank of
coral debris. In 1847, this place had witnessed a huge storm.
Minicoy
beach- this is situated in the southernmost portion of
Lakshadweep island and it has a Maldivian character.
Kadamat
beach- this 8 km long sandy beach is major attraction of
the Lakshadweep Island.
