Introduction:

Flora
and Fauna: Apart from the common form of life, life
under water is abundant and marvellous. Common farms species that
people tend are cows, ducks and goat. There are no snakes and dogs on
this place. Only on the few island there are crows. Regular sea birds
are Karifetu and Taratashi. Most of them nest on the island called
Pitty which is a sanctuary of the birds. The vibrant fishes draw
attention of the visitors by their fascinating activities, captivating
movements and peculiar forms. The charming swimming from place to place
are the butterfly fishes that resembles butterfly in the under water
garden. There are playful dolphins, turtles, flying fishes and rays
that are occasionally seen by keen observers.
Kavaratti
wild life sanctuary: It consists of an aquarium with
several colourful fishes. In it there is a glass bottom boat for
viewing marine life and an assortment of amazing coral formation that
provides a background to the lagoons and the islands with them. It has
variety and large number of coral fishes the clown, the angel, the
surgeon, the butterfly and much more. There are harmless shark, sting
rays, mamtarays and turtles which make here an addictive occurrence.
The world famous fish Tuna is found here in large shoals in the deep
sea ocean around Chelat. Whales and tortoise are also found in the
vincity of this land.
Every thing on this
land is natural. The wild life here presents a very beautiful scene of
different bird’s species. The wild life here attracts the tourist and
provides a great adventure to them. The adventure lovers find this
place highly interesting. It is a home to large species of birds and
animals. They offer the splendid opportunities to see the wild life in
natural way which is very interesting.
