Major wildlife sanctuaries and parks in Madhya Pradesh:
• Bhandhavgarh National Park: This Park is situated in Madhya Pradesh in the district of Umaria. In 1968 this was declared as the national park. This park is also known as the home to the white tigers as the much of the population of the white tigers reside in this park. As now the white tigers are the main attraction all over the world.
• Kanha National Park: It is one of the famous national parks in the central India. One can here easily find the rich and all varieties of animals and birds. This park is an excellent wild life reserve and the national park in Madhya Pradesh. Here one can see the tigers, spotted deer’s, barasingha, etc. this national park is known as the home to many species of birds. One can here see the 175 different varieties of the birds.
• Madhav National Park: This Park covers an area of 156 sq km. this park is also known as the shivpuri national park. With the establishment of this state this park was created in 1958. Here one can see the different species of deer, neelgai, jackal, leopard, chital, chin Kara, sambar, black buck, wild boar, crocodiles etc.
• Panna National Park: At a distance of 57 km from khujraho this park is located. This park is located in the Madhya Pradesh. It is termed home to the many of the wild life species. This park is considered as the one of the best tiger reserve in India. One can here see the antelopes, deer’s, tigers etc.
These parks have attracted the tourist from all over the country. The adventure lovers find this place more interesting. This state is considered to be the home to many of the different varieties of animals and birds.
