Pudducherry is connected with all the districts of Tamil Nadu through
the rail network, but buses are preferred more as means of
transportation. Pondy has a railway station and is well connected to
places like Chennai, Madurai and Trichy.

Pondy leave every 15 minutes from Chennai. It’s better to take the
buses that take the East Coast Road via Mahabalipuram as it’s along the
