Punjab cuisine
Punjab is the states present in India. It is on the border of India and Pakistan. Punjab has got very fertile land and therefore, agriculture is main wealth of the state. There are rivers flowing across the state. The major crops grown all over in the Punjab are: Generally, people grow wheat, corn, sugar cane, mustard greens as well as rice.

Punjabis are not bothered about cholesterol. Therefore, people of Punjab generally drink lot of buffalo’s milk, which has three percent more fat as compared to cow’s milk.

You will notice that every morsel of buffalo’s milk is used in preparing some or the other thing, which is used in the Punjabi food. Well, some people prefer drinking tea of buffalo’s milk. Where as, some people in Punjab drink much more thick and prosperous milk, which is called as bhadoli.

Later, this milk is turned up in preparing yoghurt. Ultimately, you need to stir up this yoghurt and the thick cream, which lies about on the top of the yoghurt, which turns up to butter. Well, some people prefer eating butter where as, some of them like to eat ghee in their day to day life.

For the preparation of ghee, you will have to burn the butter after saving little bit as storage. You will find this butter turns up to be ghee on burning. You need to discard to take away all solid sediments from the ghee. Generally, Punjabis turn up most of milk in to paneer for there day to day uses in food. In India, Paneer is similar to that of cottage cheese.

The method to prepare paneer is most simple as well as regularly used in Punjabi houses. First step, in preparing paneer is, you need to boil the milk. Then, you have to prepare a curdled by accumulation of little lime juice in boiled milk. Later, you need to twist of the whey, and you will be left with curd. These curds can be given shape in a circle or round.

The people in Punjab generally follow Sikh community. There is a golden temple located in Amritsar. Amritsar is foremost place for the people following Sikh religion. You would have noticed, moreover fifty percent of people are pure vegetarian in Punjab. No one remains hungry in Punjab. It is because of temple of Sikhs, which are located in Punjab. They serve free bread and meals including vegetable curry to everyone, who so ever turns up at their temple.
