There is no problem in accessing Rajasthan as it is well connected by means of air travel to all parts of the world.

The only international airport in Rajasthan is at Jaipur. The other important airports are the Jodhpur, Udaipur and Jaisalmer. The latter airport is operational only during the months October to March. Flights from Jet Airways and Indian Airlines provide regular flights from Mumbai and New Delhi. Tourists usually arrive at New Delhi or Mumbai and then board a flight to access Rajasthan. This makes Rajasthan well connected by means of air travel.

Rail Convenience
Indian railway network is connected to Rajasthan. It is connected to all significant towns as well as cities of Rajasthan. The main metropolitan cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata are well connected to Rajasthan.

Bus Services
Rajasthan has an excellent network of buses plying to all the parts of the state. The Rajasthan state government runs the private buses professionally and offers excellent services within Rajasthan.

Roads and other facilities
Roads in Rajasthan are exceptionally in good condition. The Road transport is very comfortable as the buses and coaches are in plenty. They have buses ranging to everyone right from deluxe buses air-conditioned to normal express buses. Tickets can be availed before the departure.

Taxi as well as cabs can be hired from all the tourist destinations and this is also available in various ranges from efficacy to luxurious. They also provide chauffeur facility.

Cycle and Auto Rickshaws are available, but the most convenient for short distances is the auto rickshaw. These Auto rickshaws run on meter basis. Cycle rickshaw is a manually driven three wheeler and is very slow. This is ideal for sightseeing around the Rajasthan town. This is an eco-friendly vehicle.

Tempos are bizarre looking vehicles that are noisy and are larges than the size of auto rickshaw. The rates vary for the distance covered

Tongas are a pleasant way of enjoying the bygone era. It is a horse driven carriage and is an excellent opportunity to old world charms. Tongas are prominent with foreign tourists. Though most people opt for motorized vehicles, Tongas are a preferred means of traveling.
