Worship is something every person should devout himself to. This is the only time that a person remembers his creator, the Almighty.

There are several places that cater to this necessity like temples, churches, mosques and many more. Religions were man’s ancient inventions.

They were devised to shape the human mind. There are several temples in India that India can be also considered as ‘The Land of Temples’.

The state of Uttar Pradesh is one of India’s prime tourist spots. It receives many tourists who visit it during the entire year from all the international places. There are many temples in this land like the rest of India.

Features
Uttar Pradesh has a lot of prominence as a Hindu pilgrim spot. Near Mathura, a person can see a red temple that was construct the birthplace of the cute and cuddly Lord Krishna who is a loved deity in every Indian house. The real place of Krishna's birth Vrindavan is a few miles down from this spot.

The town has all the characteristics of a village with narrow streets. Even the cows of the region can wander freely as the region gives absolute freedom to all its occupants. It is believed that this was the place that was lively due to Lord Krishna's pranks.

Temples
A Pagal Baba Temple is a white temple with contemporary architecture pieces. Around the temple puppets show some gestures depicting epics such as Mahabharata and Ramayana. Another vibrant temple is the Bankey Bihari and devotees keep flocking this temple often. This is a sacred image. There are numerous temples of Lord Krishna or Thakkur Ji.

The Thakkur Ji is praised and numerous songs are sung in praise of Lord Krishna. The devotees here focus on Lord Krishna and dance in front of the Lord. The Govind Dev temple was constructed by Raja Man Singh is not of great importance today. Rangaji temple can be visited only during day and is closed during noon hours.

Iskon temple is an impressive temple with novel construction. The marble building glows with light and is an evidence of explicit carvings. Iskon is known worldwide and has followers from various ethnic backgrounds. Here singing and dancing is constantly done by praising Lord Krishna remembered by his playful anecdotes of his life.

In Uttar Pradesh most of the temples are dedicated to Lord Krishna and the songs and dances focus only the praise of Lord Krishna and his activities.
