West Bengal is
bestowed with a beach town called Digha on the eastern coast of India.
This is famous for hard and flat beaches. This beach was discovered
during Warren Hastings period. This beach is engulfed amidst casuarinas
plantations and the sea is very calm making it ideal for swimming.
This beach has few
temples at a near by distance called Kapal Kundala, Lankeswari and
Digha temple. The Shankarpur beach is newly found beach and provides
all the pleasures and excitement of a private beach. This beach is
amidst casuarinas plantations. Shankarpur has now emerged with sea
resort hotels, lodges and various other facilities.
Junput beach offers
a lovely sea view and is a clean and serene beach. This is brackish
water. Frazerganj Beach tour is a white sand beach. It is pure and the
charm is unspoilt in this beach. This destination is appropriate for
migratory birds.
Sagardwip beach is
a beautiful destination combining fun and pilgrimage. This holds the
charm and presents a calm setting for an effective weekend. Bakkhali
beach is a long sandy beach and is preferred for its serenity and
