The temples are many in Kolkatta and visiting temples is of great attraction to the tourists. Temples such as Bansuli temple, Bakranath Temple, Bhagwati temple, Brindabanchandra temple, Barakar Temple, Bargabhima Temple, Dakshineswar Kali Temple, Dhirdham temple, Chaitanyadev temple, Hanseswari temple, Dugdheshwar Shiva temple, ekteswara temple, kalyaneshwari temple, Jaya Deva temple and Kapil Muni temple.

These temples have the ancient styles and architecture. These huge temples are interesting places of visit of tourists opting for temple tourism. The Bakranath temple is famous for its hot springs. The Bansuli temple is an important place of visit as this temple resembles a mound and is believed to be constructed in the Gupta rule.

The Brindabanchandra temple is one among the largest temples and is encircled by many small temples dedicated to Chaitanya Guru, the saint who is well known for his dedication to Lord Krishna. During the temple tours visiting the Barakar temple sited adjacent to Asansol is essential.

The architectural style is significant. The Bhagwati temple is nearly 150 years old and is an amazing piece of architecture. Te Dakshineswar Kali temple is connected with Saint Ramakrishna Paramhansa and visiting this temple is significant.
